1. About Maid-sama
Maid-sama is an independent community Discord application operated by Black Eclipse [BLX]. It supports multilingual communication, player and alliance identity, verification, permissions, community organisation and related features for participating Discord communities.
Maid-sama is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Discord or by the developers or publishers of Last Asylum: Plague.
2. Eligibility and Discord terms
You may use Maid-sama only if you are permitted to use Discord under Discord's applicable age requirements, terms and policies. Your use of Discord remains governed separately by Discord's own agreements. You are responsible for complying with the rules of each Discord server in which you use Maid-sama.
3. Services provided
Maid-sama may provide automated translation, language preferences and roles, player profiles, alliance registration and membership, rank and title information, verification workflows, alliance-scoped roles and channels, member management, diplomacy, audit records, a shared Music Room with playlist, queue and playback controls, and other community-management features.
Features may vary by server, channel, role or stage of development. No feature is guaranteed to remain available in a particular form.
4. Automated translation
Translations are generated automatically and may contain errors, omit meaning, misunderstand context or slang, or intentionally preserve abbreviations and game terminology. Translation availability and routing may depend on language preferences, channel policy and system capacity.
Do not treat an automated translation as authoritative for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, disciplinary or similarly consequential matters. Confirm important meaning directly with the person who wrote the original message.
5. Player and alliance information
You must provide accurate information when registering an in-game name, alliance, rank, title or other identity information. Some information may initially be marked unverified, self-declared or pending. Display by Maid-sama does not independently prove that a claim is true.
You should correct outdated information promptly and must not submit information about another person without appropriate authority.
6. Verification
Verification is a community access-control process, not a guarantee of identity, trustworthiness or authority outside the participating Discord server. One-time codes and verification requests must be shared only with the authorised person or leadership group for their intended purpose.
We may revoke or correct verification where information is inaccurate, authority changes, a user leaves an alliance, security is at risk or server administration reasonably considers it necessary.
7. Alliance administration
Verified alliance leadership may receive limited authority over members, verification, channels and resources belonging to their own alliance. This does not grant general Discord server administration authority or access to another alliance's private resources.
Server administrators retain ultimate authority over the Discord server, including roles, channels, access, moderation and the availability of Maid-sama features.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use or attempt to use Maid-sama to:
- impersonate another person or make fraudulent alliance, membership, rank or leadership claims;
- circumvent verification, misuse one-time codes, escalate privileges or obtain unauthorised access;
- access another alliance's private channels, information or management functions;
- harass, abuse, threaten, defraud or otherwise harm another person;
- introduce malware, malicious automation or content intended to compromise Discord, Maid-sama or its infrastructure;
- probe for secrets or vulnerabilities without prior permission, deliberately disrupt the service, overwhelm its queues or evade safeguards;
- use the service unlawfully or in violation of Discord's rules or the rules of the relevant server.
9. User content
You retain responsibility for messages, images, profile information and other content you submit. You give Maid-sama permission to access and process that content only as reasonably necessary to provide enabled features, maintain security, troubleshoot problems and operate the service as described in the Privacy Policy.
You must have the right to submit your content. Maid-sama's processing does not transfer ownership of it to Black Eclipse [BLX].
10. Availability and changes to the service
Maid-sama is operated as a community project. It may be unavailable, delayed, changed, limited or discontinued, including for maintenance, security, capacity, Discord platform changes or technical failure. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Moderation, restriction and suspension
Server administrators may restrict or remove access, correct records, revoke verification or suspend use where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or infrastructure, comply with server rules or investigate suspected abuse. Alliance representatives may take only the actions permitted within their delegated alliance scope.
12. Third-party services
Maid-sama operates through Discord and may rely on infrastructure or service providers needed to host, secure or support the application. Third-party platforms have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
Music features may accept links or metadata from services such as Spotify and may search for independently playable matches on other supported sources. A submitted playlist does not guarantee that every track can be found, matched or played. Users must comply with the rules of the relevant music service and must not use Maid-sama to infringe copyright or bypass access restrictions.
13. Disclaimers and responsibility
Maid-sama is provided on an “as available” basis for community use. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that information, translations, verification results or service output will always be accurate, complete, secure or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Black Eclipse [BLX] is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on automated output, unavailable features, user-provided information or third-party services. Users remain responsible for important decisions and for maintaining appropriate server moderation and account security.
14. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when Maid-sama's features, operating practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised version takes effect. Material changes may also be announced through an appropriate Discord channel or application notice.
